Holden Plant Rentals have just delivered a Fully Electric Aircraft Refueller to Kerry Airport as part of the Airport’s 0% Carbon emission sustainability policy.
Kerry Airport is leading the way in Airport Carbon emission reduction being the first Airport in Ireland to operate a fully Electric Carbon Neutral Fleet, earlier this year HPR delivered a fully electric Aircraft Handling Fleet including EV Push Back Tractors, Baggage Handlers, Fire and Rescue 4×4’s, Ambulance’s and Executive Passenger Transporters.
HPR is immensely proud to have been tasked with the challenge of assisting Kerry Airport in the transition to a fully Electric 0% Emission Fleet.
Delivery of this 26 Tonne Vehicle, being the world’s first fully Electric Aircraft Refueller is a milestone for HPR and Kerry Airport.
The state of the art Tanker was manufactured by Electra in conjunction with Titan Aviation and is the first of its kind to go into service in the aviation sector.
The supply commission is part of HPR’s operational contracts with DAA & SAA to convert Dublin, Cork and Shannon Airport’s to a fully sustainable operational fleet of Electric Vehicles
